Broccoli Salad with Garlic and Sesame



1 1/2 tsp red wine vinegar
1 tsp kosher salt
2 heads broccoli, cut into florets
3/4 cup olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp roasted sesame oil
Pinch of roasted red pepper


Combine the vinegar and salt in a bowl, then add the broccoli and toss together.

Heat up olive oil in a large skillet on medium heat, then add garlic and cumin and heat until fragrant. Stir in sesame oil and the red pepper flakes, then pour over  broccoli and toss.  Let sit for 1 hour at room temperature. Adjust seasonings before serving.
