Mac and Cheese Bread Bowl

Dash of oil
6 slices of bacon, chopped
1/4 cup + 1 1/2 tbsp flour
3/4 cup beer
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp garlic powder
pinch of salt
1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
2 cups cooked macaroni? Depending on size of bread bowl
1 bread boule
4 tbsp garlic butter, melted.
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp breadcrumbs


Heat up the oil in a nonstick skillet on medium heat, then add the bacon and cook until crispy.  Add in the 1/4 cup of flour and cook until thickened, then add the additional flour. Cook until not smelling like flour anymore. Add in the beer, then the milk, with the garlic powder and salt. Stir in the cooked macaroni, then the cheese. Cook until gooey and completely combined.

Preheat the oven at 350F. Cut the top off the bread bowl, then hollow out. Stuff with the mac and cheese. Brush the bread bowl with the melted garlic butter and top with parmesan cheese. Bake for 20 minutes until gooey and bubbly. Serve.
