Sauteed Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Ingredients:

1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
4 slices bacon
2 tbsp butter
1 shallot, sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 -2 tsp balsamic vinegar

Instructions:

Cook bacon on medium heat until crisp,  and remove from pan. Let drain, then chop.

With the bacon drippings, add butter and shallots. Cook over medium high heat for 1 minute. Add Brussels sprouts and cook for about 8 minutes more, or until browned. Add the garlic, chopped bacon and balsamic vinegar to pan. Cook for 1 minute and serve immediately.
