1 16 oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 green bell pepper, cut into 2 inch pieces
1/2 onion, cut into wedges
3 cloves garlic, peeled
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp cumin
1 tsp thai chili sauce
1/2 cup bread crumbs
Mash the beans to a thick paste, then chop up the veggies finely with a food processor or by hand. Mix with the beans thoroughly.
Whisk together the egg, chili powder, cumin, and chili sauce. Stir into the bean mixture and add bread crumbs until mixture holds together. You may need less or more breadcrumbs depending on consistency.
Divide into 4 patties and grill about 8 minutes on each side.
