2 lb yukon gold potatoes
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup milk
Peel and wash potatoes and cut into small pieces.
Add 1 tsp of salt to a large pot of water and boil. Add the potatoes and cook for about 20 minutes. Strain potatoes and add back to the pot. Add the butter and mash together.
Heat up the milk in a small saucepan and add to the mashed potatoes.Stir until completely smooth. Adjust salt as needed, and sprinkle with nutmeg.
