Cream Biscuits


2 cups all purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp kosher salt
1 1/2 cups heavy cream


Prepare a 8×8 pan with parchment paper. Preheat oven to 425F.

Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl until combined. Add in 1 1/4 cups of heavy cream into the dough. Mix until there are no dry spots and wet looking, then add the rest of the heavy cream and stir until just combined.

Put the dough out onto a floured work surface and knead dough for 30 seconds until formed together.

Shape the dough into a rectangle about 12 inches long and 4 inches wide. Cut in half lengthwise, then cut each piece into 4 pieces horizontally.Place pieces into pan.

Bake in oven for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
