Haole Brownies

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 sticks butter
1 tbsp baking powder
4 cups all purpose
6 large eggs
1 1/2 cups diced walnuts

Instructions:

This makes two pans of brownies. Seems to work for 1 pan and recipe split in half. Cream together brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt, butter and baking powder. Use a wooden spoon for mixing as the batter is thick.

Add and mix all purpose flour until incorporated, beat eggs, then mix until creamy. Add diced walnuts. Be careful not to overbeat.

Grease two 13 x 9 pans and preheat oven to 375F. Place on bottom rack and bake for at least 25 minutes. Wait 3 minutes until flattened and remove from oven. Wait until cool and cut.
