Chicken Shawarma

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lb chicken thighs, cut into large slices
1 cup plain greek yogurt
1/4 cup vinegar
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
2 cardamom pods
1 teaspoon allspice
juice of one lemon

Sauce:

1 cup tahini
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tbsp plan greek yogurt

4 large pitas

cucumber, onion, tomatoes, parsley, for fillings

Instructions:

Combine the yogurt, vinegar, garlic, salt, pepper, cardamom, allspice and lemon juice together in a Ziploc bag. If necessary, add olive oil if the mixture is dry.

Add chicken and marinade overnight.

Cook chicken in a saucepan on medium until done. While chicken is cooking, combine sauce ingredients and mix.

Cut up filling vegetables and set aside.

After chicken is done, cut into thin strips.Assemble pita and eat!~
