Blackened Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients:

1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp dried thyme
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp dried tarragon
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp black pepper
2/3 cup olive oil
1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
4 chicken breasts
1 oz dried fettuccine

Alfredo Sauce

1/4 cup butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped parsley

Instructions:

Prepare and flatten chicken. Combine spices and Worcestershire in a ziplock, add chicken and mix thoroughly. Marinate for at least 8 hours and turning bag occasionally.

Remove chicken from marinade and cook chicken in a cast iron skillet on medium high heat on each side, about 5 minutes each or until browned. Let cool and cut diagonally.

Boil water and cook fettuccine according to box instructions. Drain.

Melt butter in a medium saucepan on medium low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes. Add garlic and cheese and whisk quickly and heat through. Stir in parsley and combine with cooked fettuccine.

Plate dish with pasta and chicken on top. Grate extra cheese if desired.
