4 tsp Olive oil
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Mexican chili powder
1/4 tsp five spice powder
black pepper to taste
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 lb sweet potatoes, peeled, cut into 1 inch wedges and pieces
Move oven rack to lower third of oven, preheat to 450F.
Combine oil, chili powder, garlic, five spice, pepper, soy sauce in a bowl. Add sweet potatoes and stir.
Place the sweet potatoes on a foiled baking sheet.
Roast, stirring at least once until sweet potatoes and soft and browned. 25+ minutes.
