Banana Bread

Ingredients:

1 stick of butter
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/3 cups (5) bananas
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

Topping:

3 tbsp chopped walnuts
1 tbsp sugar
1/8 tsp cinnamon

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.

Beat butter with an electric mixer until smooth and fluffy. Add the sugar and combine for 2 minutes more. Mix in both eggs, one at a time. Add the bananas in last and combine until small lumps remain.

Sift the dry ingredients together and mix in the liquid mixture until just only combined. Pour in the prepared pan.

Combine the topping ingredients and sprinkle on top of loaf.

Bake for at least 50 minutes, checking with a toothpick and continue cooking until the toothpick comes out clean.

Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then take out of the pan onto a wire rack to cool.
