12 lasagna noodles
2 tbsp olive oil
16 oz of Italian sausage, chopped
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 24 oz jar of spaghetti sauce
4 cups ricotta cheese
Grated Romano cheese
2 cups spinach
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp oregano
Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook pasta according to directions on box. Drain and lightly coat with oil.
Saute the sausage in pan on medium heat. Prepare onions and garlic and saute in same pan until cooked.
Add the sauce to the sausage mixture and heat through. In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, Romano cheese and spinach.
Coat a 9 by 13 inch baking dish with olive oil. Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom.
Add a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by 1/4 total ricotta cheese mixture, and 1 cup of sauce mixture. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Repeat this 3 more times until mixtures are used up. Sprinkle Romano cheese and oregano on top.
Preheat the oven to 350f and bake for at least 45 minutes or until bubbly. Wait 10 minutes before serving.
