1 lb green beans
½ lb bacon
⅓ cup brown sugar
⅛ cup butter
⅛ cup soy sauce (low sodium)
1 Tsp garlic powder
Cook bacon until browned, but not too crispy.
Trim green beans and place in a baking dish.
Melt butter, then whisk together the butter with the sugar, soy sauce and garlic powder. Pour it over the green beans.
Bake the green beans for at least 40 minutes.
